I grew up in Cork, Ireland went to UCC then London, Paris, NY, Boston and now live in Raleigh. By now I have spent many more years living outside Ireland than in Ireland. My wife (Gillian) is also Irish and I tend to seek out Irish places and people whenever I travel.

It’s the people who make Ireland what it is: too many “Irish” pubs lack the most important ingredient- Irish people. Did you think I was going to say Murphy’s:)

IrishintheTriangle is my way of building a vibrant network of Irish people and their friends here in the Raleigh, Cary, Durham & Chapel Hill areas.

Our mission is to build a strong network for Irish people and their friends in the Triangle.
